Manaslu Circuit Trek

15 Days

The Manaslu Trek is becoming increasingly popular as one of Nepal’s most exciting and less-crowded trekking destinations. Known for its remote setting and dramatic landscapes, Manaslu offers a truly unique adventure for trekkers seeking both natural beauty and cultural depth.

In the past, trekking in the Manaslu region was only possible as a camping trek due to the lack of accommodation facilities. However, with the growing number of visitors, small and medium tea-house lodges have now developed along the trail. As a result, the Manaslu Trek can today be comfortably completed as a tea-house trek, while still retaining its wild and untouched character. Compared to popular regions such as Everest, Annapurna, and Langtang, the Manaslu region remains relatively quiet, making it ideal for trekkers who prefer solitude and authentic experiences. Since it lies in a restricted area, trekkers must obtain a special trekking permit.

Natural Beauty and Cultural Experience

The trek offers stunning views of Mount Manaslu (8,163m), the eighth-highest mountain in the world, along with impressive panoramas of the Ganesh Himal range. The trail follows the scenic Budhi Gandaki River, whose source lies near the dramatic Larkya La Pass, one of the highest points of the trek.

One of the most fascinating aspects of the Manaslu Trek is the harmonious blend of Hindu and Tibetan Buddhist cultures. Trekkers pass through traditional villages where both belief systems coexist and are carefully preserved. Along the route, you may also encounter wildlife, lush forests, blooming rhododendrons, alpine wildflowers, and breathtaking mountain scenery, making the Manaslu Trek a perfect combination of adventure, culture, and nature.
